Over 60 businesses packed into February’s Business Chamber event about how to navigate the impending nbn rollout in the Sutherland Shire.
A guest panel of experts was present, comprised of Mariam Chizari – Metro South local manager for nbn co, Brad Conyers – Business Account Manager at Espressonet, Grant Dawson – Managing Director at Telstra Business Centre Sydney Southern Suburbs, and Brett McCallum – nbn Channel sales manager.
Each expert speaker gave a 15-20 minute presentation. Key points were early preparation, auditing telecommunications goods like security systems and ATM machines to determine their suitability for the nbn, and how to secure the best nbn deal.
Questions were then opened up to SSBC members for nearly an hour, prompting some insightful discussion.
The event was a resounding success with our members leaving the venue armed with a wealth of knowledge to smoothly transition to the nbn.
