Professor Tim Boyle

Dr Tim Boyle is a CEO, innovation leader, and global expert in research commercialisation. With over two decades of experience across academia, industry, and government, Tim is renowned for translating scientific research into impactful technologies and services. He currently serves as CEO of ARCS Australia and Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, while also contributing as faculty at Singularity University.

Previously, Tim was Director of Innovation & Commercialisation at ANSTO, where he founded and led the nandin Innovation Centre—Australia’s largest community of science-based startups. He has also held senior roles at UNSW, Thomson Reuters, Johnson & Johnson, and University College London, and served as Chair of the global Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP).

Ashleigh Daines is a CEO, community advocate, and sector leader dedicated to empowering families and fostering safe, resilient communities. With over two decades of experience across frontline service delivery and executive leadership, she brings a unique blend of compassion, innovation, and strategic insight to her work. Since 2019, Ashleigh has served as CEO of The Family Co., a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting women, children, and families across Southern Sydney.

Ashleigh’s career spans diverse areas including child and family services, youth and adolescent programs, aged care, homelessness, and domestic violence support. She is also a Board Member of NSW Family Services (Fams), the peak body for NGOs working with vulnerable families in New South Wales.

In 2021, Ashleigh was named a Westfield Local Hero, recognising her leadership in expanding trauma-informed services and rapidly adapting to community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) and an Executive MBA from the University of Wollongong.

Terry Likidis

Terry Likidis is retired, and during his career, has shown to be a results-driven finance leader and business development strategist with over 42 years’ experience across small, medium, and large enterprises.

He is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), with strong expertise in financial health, profit optimization, and business growth.

Until December 2023, Terry served as Business Development Manager at a Shire Based Garage Door Specialist in Menai. Over his Five-year tenure, he supported the business in achieving local recognition, including the Sutherland Shire Business Awards “Exceptional Trade & Service” and Winner and finalist placements in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards.

As a long-standing Toastmaster (16+ years), Terry is celebrated for his passion, discipline, team-oriented approach, and pursuit of excellence. His ongoing role on the Sutherland Shire Business Chamber Advisory Council reflects his commitment to supporting small and medium local businesses, representing them in strategic discussions and community advocacy.

Terry is also a Volunteer Treasurer and Vice Chair with the Gymea Community Aid and Information Services, a NFP that provides Getting Settled, Ageing Well, Belong & Enjoy, Building Futures services across Sydney.
