The Draft Cronulla Public Domain Master Plan, which presents a long-term vision for the Cronulla Town Centre, is now on public exhibition.
The Draft Master Plan is a design framework that will help us work towards a better Cronulla. It provides Council and the community with an idea of how the area might look in the future and what needs to be done to get there.

Sutherland Shire Council engaged Gallagher Studio to develop the Master Plan and has included public domain artist and architect Peter McGregor. The Master Plan aims to enhance the existing spaces within the Cronulla Town Centre and develop new opportunities through well considered and targeted design interventions.
The Draft Master Plan is based on 7 Guiding Principles that provide high-level direction for the future of the Cronulla Public Domain:
- Celebrate the main street
- Make the town centre pedestrian and cyclist friendly
- Create memorable paths and connections
- Celebrate local landmarks and stories
- Create places to stay and play
- Create a diverse and safe night time experience
- Reflect local character
The Draft Master Plan is the result of a collaborative process and will help guide our collective vision for Cronulla Town Centre.
