Our aim is to bring together stakeholders to discuss the future of Caringbah’s business district, community spaces and challenges facing our business community. Our Caring for Caringbah ‘town halls’ offer a unique opportunity for local business owners, stakeholders and community members to voice concerns, share ideas and help shape solutions that matter.
Key issues identified and discussed include:
- Lack of accessible and safe parking and impact from development
- Street cleanliness and maintenance of public amenities
- Transport connectivity and weekend train access
- Future use of key sites like Audi and Hay Street Carpark and Park Lane
- The need for a stronger mix of staple shops and banks to support local needs
- The evolving DA process density challenges and more.
Our first event involved collaboration listening and learning – and now we are pursuing actions to implement the desired outcomes.
If you are a local business owner, a resident or simply passionate about the future, your voice counts! Make sure you register for our next event and let us know if there are any issues you would like covered so we can invite appropriate representatives from council or other agencies.
